LogiMAT 2025: Logistikbude starts cooperation with DB Schenker subsidiary Bitergo

- Collaboration enables processing of WMS-generated data
- Start-up presents AI-supported PDF processing
- Trade fair presence in Hall East Entrance, Stand EO59F

Dortmund / Stuttgart, 06 January 2025: Logistikbude GmbH is starting its collaboration with DB Schenker subsidiary Bitergo GmbH and is enabling a seamless connection to the Bitergo WMS (Warehouse Management System) Warehouse Star. At LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, Logistikbude presented the benefits of the smooth interaction between its software solution and the WMS. The ‘Bude’ also presented a new feature of its software solution at the Stuttgart trade fair: With AI-supported PDF processing, new data from documents can be automatically processed and utilised. Interested parties were given the opportunity to test the software solution, including the new tool, and learn more about the various connection options. The Logistics Booth was located in Hall Entrance East, Stand EO59F.

‘An international trade fair like LogiMAT is the perfect platform for us to demonstrate the numerous possible applications of our software solution and the potential that lies in cross-platform collaboration,’ says Dr Philipp Hüning, CEO and co-founder of Logistikbude GmbH.

The software solution of the same name makes it possible to track load carriers and reusable objects such as Euro pallets, boxes or racks transparently in real time and thus provides a comprehensive overview of stocks and turnaround times. The Dortmund-based start-up has been cooperating with Bitergo since the end of 2024 and enables smooth interaction between the logistics platform and the WMS of the DB Schenker subsidiary.

Utilising synergies for load carrier management

"Bitergo WMS - Warehouse Star collects extensive data on which load carriers are entering and leaving the warehouse. By utilising this existing data, administrative processes can be significantly improved and employees‘ workloads considerably reduced", says Hüning. Bitergo's customers can in turn use the Logistikbude platform via the WMS. This allows them to benefit directly from the advantages of transparent, digital load carrier management, including an overview of stock levels or shrinkage, automatic coordination with partners and intelligent forecasts on the use of reusable items. This enables them to save both resources and emissions.

Logistikbude presents AI-supported data processing at LogiMAT

In addition to the entire software solution and its various connection options, Logistikbude is presenting another new feature at the LogiMAT trade fair: AI-supported processing of PDF documents means that new data can now be read out automatically. Instead of manually entering information into the application, users only need to upload the documents, while the feature automatically extracts the relevant information. The new function emphasises Logistikbude's overarching goal of fully automating manual processes and the entire load carrier management process. The software is continuously being developed to adapt flexibly to the requirements and technical conditions of customers and to automatically merge all data.
