Our story

A story that was waiting to be written

When we worked at Fraunhofer IML in Dortmund, we were a colorful group of four completely different personalities with more than 30 years of experience in everything related to logistics, load carriers and software. During our time together at IML, we got the idea that we could turn the whole thing with load carrier management on its head — not just make it a bit better, but really revolutionize it. Existing solutions were simply too complicated for us and many new technologies such as RFID, IoT or AI could not be used at all. We never let go of this idea until we launched the Logistikbude at the end of 2021. Since then, we have been developing software that not only impresses in terms of simplicity, but also really helps people out there in the logistics jungle.

Decisive moments in our development

December 2021

The Logistikbude was born and is now registered in the commercial register as a GmbH.

February 2022

The first customer signs and uses our software daily for reusable management.

May 2022

The Logistikbude is exhibiting at an international trade fair for the first time: LogiMAT in Stuttgart.

September 2022

We're moving into our first own office! Right in the Technology Center at TU Dortmund's Center for Entrepreneurship and Transfer (CET).

April 2023

The tenth employee starts at #Bude.

September 2023

We have completed our first financing round of 2.2 million euros! With active support from our great investors: Rethink Ventures, XPRESS Ventures, FTTF, Better Ventures, SB21 and OMA (Founder of Proglove).

March 2024

We are honoured by the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and HTGF High-Tech Gründerfonds as the best spin-off of 2023.

September 2024

The #Bude is honoured twice in the BMWK's ‘Digital Start-up of the Year 2024’ competition.

November 2024

The #Bude continues to grow: the number of our employees increases to 21, the number of our customers to 25.
